Why Your Support Matters

We are building Living Reasons from the ground up. Most of our work will be online — through campaigns, support, and training — but we also need a physical home:

  • A base for our support line and other services.

  • Storage for stock and equipment for our future shops, events and fundraising activity.

  • A safe space and confidential for people to come to.

  • A studio for online activity, live streaming, training, and Q&A sessions.

  • A place to plan, work, and grow — our first head office.

Our first goal is to raise £25,000 to secure and run this space for one year. This will give us the foundation we need to launch, test our work, and prove that change is possible.

We’ve launched a GoFundMe fundraiser with a target of £25,000 to cover our first-year operating and set up costs.

Transparency: How Donations Are Managed

Living Reasons is in the process of registering as a charity. While this takes time, we want to be open, active, and ready to grow.

For now, all donations are processed through our allied business, Reasons Trading Ltd. To protect your trust:

  • All donations are ring-fenced and recorded separately.

  • Payments are only made on Living Reasons’ behalf if trustees agree it is in the charity’s best interest.

  • Every transaction has a clear paper trail.

  • Transparency is at the heart of this process: any member of the public can request to see evidence of payments, trustee meeting notes that approved them, and the reasons why they were made.

This system allows us to engage with supporters now, building strong foundations ready for the moment our registration is complete.
